Legado de Vida: Buena Fortuna’s Living Seed bank
Legado de Vida is a mini-documentary that offers an intimate look into daily life at Buena Fortuna Gardens — a place shaped by education, cultivation, and community. The film explores the working environment behind seed planting, permaculture practices, and hands-on learning programs, revealing how knowledge is shared and passed forward through the land.

The documentary follows the journey of produce from soil to table, highlighting the gardens, the plants and herbs, the restaurant, and the weekly Sunday market. Through tours, workshops, and lived experience, it captures how food, education, and sustainability intersect in real time.
Grounded in community, Legado de Vida weaves together testimonials, daily routines, and reflections on the past, present, and future of Buena Fortuna Gardens. Created in collaboration with Wandering Monkey® and Cactide Productions™, the film serves as a living record of stewardship, resilience, and the people who continue to nurture this place.
